We reluctantly left Lake Bled today after one of the best stays of the trip so far, even better than the 4 star hotels!! We were driven to Jesenice train station by Damien to catch our direct train to Munich which this time proved to be a very scenic route with the sun shining most of the journey. As we were travelling from Bled to Munich we had to pass through Austria meaning in our 5 hour train journey we covered 400km across 3 different countries, not bad for 1 day!!
Arriving in sunny Munich we immediately had to get to grips with their transport system. We jumped on the U-bahn (the underground) to Arabella Park station situated close to our hotel. As we still had some hours of sunshine we headed out for some grub and some German beer before heading back for an early night to recharge for sightseeing tomorrow.
